\u2014 but in a <strong>2\u20134 mm flake<\/strong> instead of a 60\u201380 mesh powder.<\/p>\n<p>The reason to choose flake over powder is handling. A fine humate powder generates dust: it hangs in the air, coats the line and the operator, and a meaningful fraction of it never reaches the tank. A 2\u20134 mm flake pours cleanly, produces effectively no dust, and is measurably easier to dose by hand or by machine. For a plant working through bags all day, that difference is not cosmetic \u2014 it shows up in housekeeping, in operator complaints, and in material that actually gets into the batch.<\/p>\n<p>The trade-off is dissolution speed. Flake takes longer to go into solution than powder.
