Product Overview

Sodium Fulvate is the sodium salt of fulvic acid, extracted from leonardite-sourced humic substances. Fulvic acid is the short-chain, low-molecular-weight fraction of humus, so it moves through leaf and root cuticle within hours and chelates nutrients tightly. Sodium fulvate is highly water soluble and is used as a foliar biostimulant, a micronutrient chelate, an aquaculture water aid and a feed additive.

Sodium Fulvate Flakes I (Type I) carries 50% fulvic acid and 50% humic acid on a dry basis with 95% water solubility. Type I is the balanced grade — a strong fulvic load for fast foliar and root uptake plus the soil-conditioning humic fraction, in one fully-soluble flake.

Use it as a foliar biostimulant and micronutrient chelate where quick plant response matters, or as the fulvate base of a soluble feed. It is clean to handle and dissolves almost completely.

Key Benefits

50% fulvic acid

The short-chain active fraction that enters leaf and root tissue within hours.

50% humic acid

Adds soil conditioning and nutrient chelation alongside the fast fulvic action.

95% water soluble

Dissolves almost completely — only a small residue for most uses.

Fast uptake

Fulvic acid moves quickly through cuticle, so deficiency correction and stress recovery show sooner.

Chelates micronutrients

Binds Fe, Zn, Mn and Cu tightly, keeping them available to the plant.

COA on every batch

Each lot ships with a Certificate of Analysis stating tested fulvic, humic, solubility and pH.

Form & Solubility

Form: yellow-brown flakes, low-dust and free-flowing. The balanced Type I grade.

In water: wets out and disperses almost completely within seconds under light agitation. Add onto moving water to avoid a surface crust.

Handling: low dust, standard PPE recommended during bulk handling.

Sodium fulvate is the highly water-soluble sodium salt of leonardite fulvic acid — fast-uptake foliar biostimulant and chelate.

How the sodium fulvate types compare

Sodium Fulvate Flakes II (Type II)Flakes≥ 55%≥ 25%100%Soil-first, fully soluble

Type I is balanced (50/50); Type II is soil-first (55% humic, 25% fulvic) and fully soluble. Both are alkaline (pH 9–10).

Applications & Dosage

Fast-uptake foliar biostimulant and micronutrient chelate for crops and greenhouse programmes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Type I or Type II?

Type I is balanced — 50% fulvic and 50% humic, the all-round foliar and chelate grade. Type II carries more humic and less fulvic (25%) for a stronger soil/conditioning emphasis.

Is it soluble?

About 95% on a dry basis — almost complete, a small residue only. Pre-dissolve and filter for a fully clear solution.

How fast does it work?

Fulvic acid enters leaf and root tissue within hours, so foliar response and stress recovery show sooner than with humate salts.

Can it chelate micronutrients?

Yes — it binds Fe, Zn, Mn and Cu tightly, keeping them available; ideal as the base of a chelated formula.

Do you provide a COA per batch?

Yes — tested fulvic acid, humic acid, solubility and pH against Chinese industry standards.

What is the minimum order and lead time?

Stock item. MOQ one pallet; 7–15 days ex-works. Private-label printing available.
