Product Overview

Food Grade Fulvic Acid Powder is a mineral-source fulvic acid produced from naturally oxidised lignite (leonardite). The raw material is first treated to remove heavy metals and toxins by resin and ultraviolet light, then the humic and fulvic fractions are extracted and spray-dried into a fine black powder using food-grade ingredients — so it is safe for use as a dietary-supplement raw material, functional-food ingredient and animal-nutrition additive.

Derived from lignite, it is a product from nature. As fulvic acid belongs to humic acid, it is also called food grade humic acid. Every batch travels with its own Certificate of Analysis showing heavy metals below detection.

Food grade fulvic acid — mineral source in nature

Food grade fulvic acid laboratory testing

Key Benefits

Heavy metals below detection, every batch

The lignite source is purified by resin and UV before extraction, and Pb, As, Hg, Cd and Cr are reported as not detected on the COA that ships with every order.

100% water soluble, no residue

Dissolves completely in water — suitable for liquid blends, beverages and foliar/soil dilution without clogged lines or sediment.

Cell-level bioavailability

Fulvic acid carries a high negative charge and small molecular size, which is why it is used as a carrier that helps the body and plants take up minerals at the cellular level.

One mineral source, two forms

The same lignite-derived fulvic acid is offered as powder (50% fulvic acid) and liquid (90% on a dry basis) so you can hold one supplier across dry and liquid formats.

Food-grade processing, traceable

Extracted and dried with food-grade ingredients under a documented process; each lot is identified and shipped with its own test report.

Form & Solubility

Form: dry black powder, fine and free-flowing. It dissolves completely in water to a brown-black solution with no settle-out.

In water: 100% soluble — stir into water, beverage or liquid feed and it stays in solution. This is the form to choose when the fulvic acid has to pass through a line, a filter or a bottle.

In a dry blend: it disperses evenly through powders and capsules. Because it is a mineral-source material, keep it dry in storage — it will cake if left in a damp place.

Honest note: this is a mineral-source fulvic acid, not a fermented one. It is purified (heavy metals removed) and supplied with a per-batch COA — we would rather state the source clearly than let a label surprise you.

Which form fits your application?

Grade Form Fulvic acid Total extract Notes Best for
Food Grade Fulvic Acid Powder (this product) Black powder 50% min 70% Dry blend, capsules Dietary supplement, functional food
Food Grade Fulvic Acid Liquid Black liquid 90% min Dilute & apply Liquid supplement, fertigation, foliar

Both forms come from the same lignite-derived mineral source and share the same heavy-metal below-detection declaration. They differ in concentration and how you use them — not in origin.

Applications & Dosage

Food grade fulvic acid is used wherever a clean, soluble mineral-source fulvic acid is needed — supplements, food and agriculture:

Application How to use Rate
Dietary supplement raw material Encapsulated or tableted as a fulvic-acid dietary supplement; also blended into powders and sticks. 50–200 mg/serving
Functional food & beverage Dissolved into drinks, powders and health foods as a mineral-source functional ingredient. Per formulation
Animal nutrition additive Added to feed and drinking water to support mineral uptake and gut condition. 50–200 g/tonne feed
Plant nutrition (diluted) Diluted and applied as a foliar or soil drench to support nutrient uptake in crops. 0.5–2 L/ha

Packaging & Storage

Pack size Description
1 kg / 5 kg Foiled bag with inner PE liner — retail and sample packing
20 kg / 25 kg Woven PP bag with inner PE liner — standard export packing
1000–1100 kg Jumbo bag with discharge spout, 4 lifting loops
Custom Private-label printed bag, OEM specification, retail sizes on request

Storage: Store under cover in a dry, ventilated place, away from direct moisture. The powder is hygroscopic and will cake if left in a damp environment — keep it on pallets and reseal the bag after use.

In original, unopened packaging the material is stable for years; it does not degrade or lose fulvic acid content. Shelf life: 24 months in sealed packing.

Custom packaging, private-label printing and OEM specifications are available on request. Packaging photos are available in the product gallery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is food grade fulvic acid the same as humic acid?

Fulvic acid is the lowest-molecular-weight, most soluble fraction of humic acid. Our material is extracted from lignite and the food grade version is purified (heavy metals removed) so it is safe as a supplement and food ingredient. It is mineral-source, not fermented.

Where does it come from — is it fermented?

No. It is mineral-source, derived from naturally oxidised lignite (leonardite). The raw material is purified by resin and ultraviolet light, then extracted and spray-dried. This is different from fermented (e.g. microbial) fulvic acid.

Why are heavy metals ‘not detected’?

The lignite source is treated to remove heavy metals and toxins before extraction, and every batch is tested. The COA reports Pb, As, Hg, Cd and Cr as not detected (below the method detection limit). A COA ships with every order.

Powder or liquid — which should I use?

Use powder for capsules, tablets and dry blends; use liquid when the fulvic acid has to stay in solution (beverages, fertigation, foliar). Both come from the same mineral source — the powder is 50% fulvic acid and the liquid is 90% on a dry basis.

Is it water soluble?

Yes, 100%. It dissolves completely in water with no sediment, which is why it works in beverages, liquid feed and diluted foliar/soil application.

We provide free samples for most products. Tell us the product, form (powder, granule, flake or liquid) and target specification, and we will arrange express shipment. Sample lead time is usually 3-5 working days.

MOQ depends on the product and form. Standard powders usually start from 1 ton, while small packs and liquid concentrates can be lower. Tell us your target product and we will quote the exact MOQ.

Yes. Every batch ships with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) and a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). Heavy-metal and key-parameter results are tested in our analytical lab, and we can also supply the documents your registration or customs clearance requires.

We supply humic and fulvic acid, amino acid, and seaweed extract products, covering agriculture, animal nutrition, environmental remediation, water treatment, and human-health applications.

Most products are available as powder, granule, flake or liquid. Standard packing is 25 kg PP/PE bags, jumbo bags, fibre drums or IBC tanks, and we can also pack 1 kg, 5 kg or 20 kg retail sizes for distributors.

Yes. We can adjust the specification (content, pH, solubility, particle size, moisture) and pack under your own brand and artwork. Send us your target specification sheet and we will confirm feasibility, MOQ and lead time.

Standard items ship in 7-15 working days after confirmation. Custom specifications and large volumes may take longer; we will give a firm date together with the quotation.
