Mineral Source Potassium Fulvate Micro Granule I
Dissolves Like Instant Coffee — The Premium Instant Grade
2–3 mm hollow granule · 50% fulvic acid · 10% K₂O · dissolves in seconds
Product Overview
Mineral Source Potassium Fulvate is JINGFENG’s potassium-rich humate extracted from leonardite, a young oxidized lignite rich in humic acid. It is used worldwide as a fertilizer raw material and plant biostimulant.
Micro Granule I is the spray-dried grade of our mineral-source potassium fulvate, and it does one thing better than anything else we make: it dissolves almost instantly. Drop it into water and it goes in like instant coffee — no waiting, no stirring, no residue.
The secret is the structure. Spray drying produces a hollow micro granule with a very high surface-area-to-mass ratio and a porous wall. Water penetrates from outside and inside at once, so the granule collapses into solution in seconds rather than minutes. You also get the two handling benefits that come with a granule rather than a powder: zero dust and excellent flow.
At 50% fulvic acid and 10% K₂O minimum it is a step lower in fulvic than the powder and flake grades — that is the honest trade-off for the instant-dissolve structure. For premium water-soluble fertilizers, soluble retail packs, hydroponics and any application where the operator will not wait around, this is the grade that removes friction.
Key Benefits
Dissolves in seconds
Hollow spray-dried structure means water attacks the granule from both surfaces. Clear solution with a swirl of the hand — no mechanical agitation required.
Absolutely no dust
A granule, not a powder. Nothing becomes airborne during filling, and the bag and the operator stay clean.
Free-flowing and non-segregating
Uniform 2–3 mm granules pour like a liquid and do not separate from other granular components in a blend.
Ideal for soluble retail packs
The consumer-grade experience: scoop, pour, stir once, done. Perfect for 1 kg and small-format soluble products.
No residue, no blocked emitters
Complete dissolution means nothing settles in the tank bottom and nothing reaches your drippers.
COA on every batch
Guaranteed 50% fulvic acid and 10% K₂O minimum, pH 9.0–10.0, plus full heavy metal panel (Pb, As, Hg, Cd not detected).

Form & Solubility
Form: uniform black hollow micro granules, 2–3 mm, produced by spray drying.
In water: this is where Micro Granule I separates itself. The hollow, porous structure wicks water into the granule interior while the outside dissolves at the same time, so the granule disintegrates within seconds. No mechanical agitation is needed — a brief hand stir is enough to finish the job.
Dust: none. Flow: excellent, and because the granules are uniform in size they do not segregate when blended with other granular products.
Where it earns its price: soluble retail packs, hydroponic and greenhouse dosing systems with no agitation tank, foliar programmes where the operator mixes by hand, and any premium formulation where “mixes instantly” belongs on the label.
Honest note on storage: the same porous structure that makes it dissolve fast also makes it the most hygroscopic grade in the family. Keep bags sealed and stored dry.
Choosing between the five Type I grades
| Grade | Form | Fulvic acid | Best for | Dissolve speed | Dust |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Powder I | 80–100 mesh powder | 55% min | Compound & bulk-blended NPK, WS fertilizer base | Fastest | Some |
| Flakes I (this product) | 2–4 mm flake | 55% min | Liquid fertilizer, fertigation, water-run | Needs agitation | Almost none |
| Micro Granule I | 2–3 mm hollow granule | 50% min | Premium soluble SKUs, hydroponics, foliar | Seconds, no stirring | None |
| Extruded Granules I | 2–4 mm extruded granule | 50% min | Dry blending with granular NPK, broadcasting | Slow (soil moisture) | None |
| Sodium-Free Flakes I | 2–3 mm shiny flake | 50% min | Sodium-sensitive crops, closed hydroponic systems | Needs agitation | Almost none |
Applications & Dosage
| Application | How to use | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Premium water-soluble fertilizer | Use as the humic component of a top-tier WS formula where instant solubility is a label claim. | 5–10% of formula |
| Soluble retail / small packs | The consumer-friendly grade — scoop, pour, stir once. Ideal for 1 kg and 5 kg retail soluble SKUs. | as per pack dosage |
| Hydroponics & greenhouse dosing | Feeds directly into a dosing unit with no pre-dissolve tank required. | 0.3–0.8 kg/mu |
| Foliar spray | Dilute 1:1200–1:2000, spray both leaf surfaces. Fast mixing makes tank turnover quicker between blocks. | 0.2–0.5 kg/mu |
| Drip / fertigation | Dissolves before it reaches the filter, so load on the filtration system is minimal. | 0.5–1.0 kg/mu |
Packaging & Storage
| Pack size | Description |
|---|---|
| 1 kg | Printed aluminium foil bag — retail soluble pack |
| 20 kg | Kraft bag with inner liner |
| 25 kg | Woven bag with inner PE liner |
| 1000–1100 kg | Jumbo bag with discharge spout |
Storage: Most hygroscopic grade in the Type I family — the porous structure absorbs atmospheric moisture readily. Store sealed in a cool, dry place; once opened, use promptly or reseal tightly with the liner clipped. Shelf life 2 years under proper storage.
Custom packaging, private-label printing and OEM specifications are available on request. Packaging photos are available in the product gallery.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the fulvic acid 50% when the powder is 55%?
The spray-drying process that creates the hollow instant-dissolve structure also slightly dilutes the active fraction per unit weight. You trade roughly 5 percentage points of fulvic acid for instant dissolution and zero dust. If maximum fulvic content per tonne is your priority and you have agitation available, choose Powder I or Flakes I.
Does it really need no agitation?
Correct — a brief hand stir is enough. That is the whole point of the hollow structure. It is the only grade in the Type I family we recommend for systems with no mechanical mixer.
Does it absorb moisture faster than the other grades?
Yes, and this is the one thing to watch. The porous granule takes up atmospheric moisture readily. Keep bags sealed, use opened bags promptly, and store in a dry place. In humid climates we recommend the foil-lined packaging.
Is it suitable for organic certification?
Our fulvic acid line holds CERES organic certification to NOP standard. Send us your target market and programme and we will attach the applicable current certificate.
What is the minimum order and lead time?
Made-to-order on a spray drying campaign. MOQ is higher than the stocked powder and flake grades — tell us your volume and we will quote a firm MOQ and lead time, typically 15–25 days.
Do you supply a COA per batch?
Yes. Micro Granule I ships with a full COA including the complete heavy metal panel (Pb, As, Hg, Cd) tested to GB 18877-2009.
Can it be blended with granular NPK?
It can, and its uniform 2–3 mm size resists segregation well. But note the storage caveat: once blended into a hygroscopic bulk blend, use the blend promptly rather than warehousing it.
