Product Overview

Potassium Humic Fulvic Round Granule is produced by disc granulation of potassium humate into uniform 4–6 mm spherical granules. It is designed as a bulk-blending base material — not a standalone soluble product — delivering humic and fulvic acids in a form that mixes cleanly with granular NPK, urea, and MAP without segregation.

Potassium Humic Fulvic Round Granule is not a soluble fertilizer ingredient — it is a granular carrier and functional additive for bulk-blended fertilizers. Produced by disc granulation into uniform 4–6 mm spherical granules, it is designed to be mixed physically into NPK, organic, or BB (bulk-blend) fertilizers as a humic-enriched base granule that releases its active fraction gradually in soil moisture.

The numbers are different from our fulvate lines, and they should be: 25% humic acid, 10% fulvic acid, 2–5% K₂O, and 70% water solubility. This is not a product you dissolve in a tank — it is a product you blend into a bag alongside MAP, DAP, urea, and other granular components, where it contributes humic substances to the rhizosphere over time as the granule breaks down in soil.

The round shape and 4–6 mm size band are deliberate: they match the physical profile of standard granular NPK fertilizers, which means the humic granules don’t segregate during transport, bagging, or mechanical spreading. Your blend stays homogeneous from the blender to the field.

Key Benefits

Size-matched to granular NPK

4–6 mm round granules sit in the same size band as standard MAP, DAP, and urea prills. No segregation in the blend, no separation in the spreader.

Disc-granulated for strength

The disc granulation process produces dense, round granules with good crush resistance. They survive drum blending, conveyor transfer, and bagging without breaking into fines.

Gradual release in soil

70% solubility means the active fraction releases over days to weeks in soil moisture, providing extended humic/fulvic activity rather than a single flush. Good for season-long soil conditioning.

Adds humic substances to any granular fertilizer

Turn a standard NPK into a ‘humic-enhanced’ NPK simply by blending in this granule at 3–10%. No reformulation of your base fertilizer needed.

Form & Solubility

Form: hard, dense black round granules, 4–6 mm, produced by disc granulation. Spherical shape, matte-to-slightly-glossy surface.

In water: partially soluble (~70%). Do not use this product in liquid fertilizer tanks or fertigation systems — it is not designed for dissolution. The 70% solubility refers to the fraction that releases in soil moisture over time, not to tank-side dissolution.

In the blender: this is where it belongs. The round 4–6 mm granules mix cleanly with other granular components. They do not produce dust, they do not segregate, and they survive mechanical handling.

In the field: the granule slowly releases its humic and fulvic content into the soil solution as it weathers. This is a slow-release mechanism, not an instant-dissolve one.

Honest note: this is not a dissolve-in-the-tank product. 70% water solubility means it is built for soil application and dry blending, where the granule has to survive the blender, the bag and the spreader. If your line dissolves material in a tank, buy Powder II or Flakes II instead.

Flakes II2–3 mm flake30% min55% min10% minCompound NPK, liquid fertilizer, water-run
Powder II60–80 mesh powder30% min55% min10% minPowder blending, WS fertilizer base

Type I grades (Powder I, Flakes I, Micro Granule I, Extruded Granules I, Sodium-Free Flakes I) run 50–55% fulvic acid with 50% humic acid — see the Type I range if fulvic acid content is your buying criterion.

Applications & Dosage

This product has a specific job — granular blending. It is not for liquid applications:

BB (bulk blend) fertilizerBlend at 3–10% with granular NPK (urea, MAP, DAP, MOP). The round granules stay mixed and add humic content to the final blend.3–10% of blend

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I dissolve this in water and use it as a liquid fertilizer?

No — and please don’t try. Only about 70% is water-soluble, and the remaining 30% (the insoluble humic matrix) will settle out as sediment, clog filters, and cause problems in emitters. This product is designed for dry blending into granular fertilizers, not for dissolution. If you need a soluble potassium humate/fulvate, look at our Type I or Type II flake/powder grades.

Why is the fulvic acid only 10%?

The disc granulation process and the raw material mix for this product are optimized for granule strength and physical properties, not for maximizing fulvic acid yield. The 10% fulvic / 25% humic profile is what’s economically achievable in a disc-granulated form while keeping the price competitive as a bulk-blending additive. If you need higher fulvic content in a granular form, consider our Extruded Granules I (Type I, 50% fulvic).

How does this compare to Extruded Granules I?

Extruded Granules I (Type I): 50% fulvic / 50% humic / 10-12% K₂O / 100% soluble / 2-4mm matte granules — a premium soluble granule for high-value applications. Round Granule: 10% fulvic / 25% humic / 2-5% K₂O / 70% soluble / 4-6mm round granules — a cost-effective bulk-blending base. Different products for different jobs.

What is the crush strength?

The disc-granulated round granules have good mechanical strength — they survive standard drum blending and conveyor handling without excessive breakage. If you need a specific crush strength number for your process (e.g., for a particular blender type), request it at enquiry stage and we’ll have it tested.

Can this be used in organic farming?

Our raw material source (leonardite) is naturally occurring and the product is mineral-based. Organic certification depends on your programme’s input standards. Share your certification body and programme, and we’ll check whether this grade qualifies.
