30% Sodium Humate Round Granule
The Dust-Free Granule for Blending and Broadcast
Every lot ships with a Certificate of Analysis stating actual tested values.
Product Overview
Sodium Humate is the sodium salt of humic acid, produced by alkaline extraction of leonardite-sourced humic acid. The sodium form is highly water soluble, so it dissolves completely and goes to work fast. It is used worldwide as a soil conditioner and nutrient chelate in agriculture, a water-purifying and immunity aid in aquaculture and animal feed, and a binder in drilling fluids and ceramics.
30% Sodium Humate Round Granule is the low-dust, easy-handling grade of our sodium humate, guaranteed 30% humic acid on a dry basis with 70% water solubility. The round granule spreads and blends without the dust of powders, and still breaks down in water or moist soil to release the humate.
It is the grade to choose when dust at the intake hopper is a problem, or when you want to broadcast or blend a solid humate that meters cleanly. Aquaculture and feed users also prefer the granule for controlled, even dosing.
Key Benefits
Dust-free handling
Round granules keep the intake clean — no powder haze at the weighing or blending station.
30% humic acid
A practical humic load for soil conditioning, chelation and aquaculture water treatment.
70% water soluble
Dissolves in water or moist soil to release the active humate where it is needed.
Blends and broadcasts
Meters evenly through a blend or spreader; no segregation during transport.
Multi-use
Soil conditioner, feed additive and aquaculture water-purifying aid in one product.
COA on every batch
Each lot ships with a Certificate of Analysis stating tested humic acid, solubility and pH.
Technical Specification
| Parameter | Specification | Test standard |
|---|---|---|
| Appearance | Black round granule | Visual inspection |
| Humic acid (dry basis) | ≥ 30% | HG/T 3278-2011 |
| Water solubility (dry basis) | ≥ 70% | HG/T 3278-2011 |
| Moisture | ≤ 20% | GB/T 8576 |
| pH (1:100) | 9.0 – 10.0 | HG/T 3278-2011 |
Specification values are guaranteed minimums on a dry basis, taken from the batch Certificate of Analysis and tested against the stated Chinese industry standards. Every shipment travels with its own COA stating the tested values.

Form: black round granules, free-flowing and low-dust. Coarse enough to spread cleanly, fine enough to break down in water or moist soil.
In water: wets and disperses to release the humate; full solubility is around 70%, so a small inert residue is normal for this grade.
Handling: dust-free by design, but standard PPE is still recommended during bulk handling.
How the sodium humate grades compare
| Grade | Form | Humic acid | Water solubility | Moisture | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 30% Sodium Humate Round Granule (this product) | Granule | ≥ 30% | ≥ 70% | ≤ 20% | Dust-free blend & broadcast |
| 40% Sodium Humate Big Flakes | Flakes | ≥ 40% | ≥ 90% | ≤ 15% | Fast-dissolve low-dust flake |
| 50-60% Sodium Humate Big Shiny Flakes | Shiny flakes | ≥ 50% | 100% | — | Fully soluble premium flake |
| 50-60% Sodium Humate Powder | Powder | ≥ 50% | ≥ 85% | ≤ 15% | Fast-dissolve blender powder |
| 60% Sodium Humate Crystal | Crystal | ≥ 60% | ≥ 99% | — | High-active near-soluble crystal |
| 60-70% Sodium Humate Flakes | Flakes | ≥ 65% | 100% | ≤ 13% | Top fully-soluble flake |
| 60-70% Sodium Humate Powder | Powder | ≥ 60% | ≥ 99% | ≤ 15% | High-active blender powder |
Higher humic % means more active per kilo; solubility and form decide handling and dissolution. All grades are alkaline (pH 9–10).
Applications & Dosage
Used in agriculture (soil/feed), aquaculture water treatment and as a drilling/ceramic binder.
| Application | How to use | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Soil conditioning / broadcast | Broadcast or blend into the soil before planting; the granule releases humate in moist soil. | 15–30 kg/ha |
| Compound / bulk blend | Add at 5–10 kg per tonne of finished blend; meters evenly with minimal segregation. | 5–10 kg/t |
| Aquaculture water | Dissolve and spread in ponds to bind ammonia and clarify water; dose by pond volume. | 1–2 kg/1000 m³ |
| Animal feed additive | Mix into feed as a digestion aid per species guideline. | Per formula |
Packaging & Storage
| Pack size | Description |
|---|---|
| 25 kg | Woven bag with inner PE liner |
| 1000–1100 kg | Jumbo bag with discharge spout |
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. The granule is stable for 2 years; reseal opened bags to keep moisture low.
Custom packaging, private-label printing and OEM specifications are available on request. Packaging photos are available in the product gallery.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why a granule instead of powder?
The round granule is dust-free and meters cleanly in blends and spreaders, while still releasing humate in water or moist soil. Choose powder when fast dissolution is the priority.
Is it fully soluble?
Around 70% on a dry basis. A small inert residue is normal for this grade; pre-dissolve and filter if you need a clear solution.
Can it be used in ponds?
Yes — dissolve and spread; it binds ammonia and helps clarify aquaculture water. Dose by pond volume.
Is it feed-safe?
It is used as a feed additive; follow species-specific guidelines and local regulations. We can supply the relevant documentation.
Do you provide a COA per batch?
Yes — tested humic acid, water solubility, moisture and pH against Chinese industry standards.
What is the minimum order and lead time?
Stock item. MOQ one pallet; 7–15 days ex-works. Private-label printing available.
