50-60% Sodium Humate Powder
The Fast-Dissolving Powder for Blends and Liquids
Every lot ships with a Certificate of Analysis stating actual tested values.
Product Overview
Sodium Humate is the sodium salt of humic acid, produced by alkaline extraction of leonardite-sourced humic acid. The sodium form is highly water soluble, so it dissolves completely and goes to work fast. It is used worldwide as a soil conditioner and nutrient chelate in agriculture, a water-purifying and immunity aid in aquaculture and animal feed, and a binder in drilling fluids and ceramics.
50-60% Sodium Humate Powder carries 50% humic acid on a dry basis with 85% water solubility and the finest particle size in the family. Powder dissolves fastest and blends most uniformly through an NPK mix, so it is the workhorse grade for fertilizer blenders and liquid humate production.
Trade-off, stated plainly: the powder is faster and blends better than flakes, but it raises more dust at the hopper. If dust is a problem, step up to the big flakes or granule.
Key Benefits
50% humic acid
A strong humic guarantee for soil, feed and aquaculture use.
Fast dissolving
Finest grade — wets out and disperses quickest for liquid humate.
Blends uniformly
Disperses evenly through an NPK blend; minimal segregation in transport.
Cost-effective
The standard powder grade — good value for high-volume blending.
Multi-use
Soil conditioner, feed additive and aquaculture water-purifying aid.
COA on every batch
Each lot ships with a Certificate of Analysis stating tested humic acid, solubility and pH.
Technical Specification
| Parameter | Specification | Test standard |
|---|---|---|
| Appearance | Black powder | Visual inspection |
| Humic acid (dry basis) | ≥ 50% | HG/T 3278-2011 |
| Water solubility (dry basis) | ≥ 85% | HG/T 3278-2011 |
| Moisture | ≤ 15% | GB/T 8576 |
| pH (1:100) | 9.0 – 10.0 | HG/T 3278-2011 |
Specification values are guaranteed minimums on a dry basis, taken from the batch Certificate of Analysis and tested against the stated Chinese industry standards. Every shipment travels with its own COA stating the tested values.

Form: free-flowing black powder, the finest grade in the family. Fastest to dissolve, most uniform to blend.
In water: wets out on contact and disperses within seconds under light agitation. Add onto moving water to avoid a surface crust.
Dust: the finest grade raises the most dust at the hopper — standard PPE and local extraction recommended.
How the sodium humate grades compare
| Grade | Form | Humic acid | Water solubility | Moisture | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 30% Sodium Humate Round Granule | Granule | ≥ 30% | ≥ 70% | ≤ 20% | Dust-free blend & broadcast |
| 40% Sodium Humate Big Flakes | Flakes | ≥ 40% | ≥ 90% | ≤ 15% | Fast-dissolve low-dust flake |
| 50-60% Sodium Humate Big Shiny Flakes | Shiny flakes | ≥ 50% | 100% | — | Fully soluble premium flake |
| 50-60% Sodium Humate Powder (this product) | Powder | ≥ 50% | ≥ 85% | ≤ 15% | Fast-dissolve blender powder |
| 60% Sodium Humate Crystal | Crystal | ≥ 60% | ≥ 99% | — | High-active near-soluble crystal |
| 60-70% Sodium Humate Flakes | Flakes | ≥ 65% | 100% | ≤ 13% | Top fully-soluble flake |
| 60-70% Sodium Humate Powder | Powder | ≥ 60% | ≥ 99% | ≤ 15% | High-active blender powder |
Higher humic % means more active per kilo; solubility and form decide handling and dissolution. All grades are alkaline (pH 9–10).
Applications & Dosage
The blender’s workhorse for NPK blends and liquid humate.
| Application | How to use | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Compound / bulk-blended NPK | Add 5–10 kg per tonne and run through the normal blending cycle. | 5–10 kg/t |
| Liquid humate production | Dissolve to a working solution for fertigation or foliar. | As required |
| Aquaculture water | Dissolve and spread in ponds to bind ammonia and clarify water. | 1–2 kg/1000 m³ |
| Animal feed additive | Mix into feed per species guideline. | Per formula |
Packaging & Storage
| Pack size | Description |
|---|---|
| 25 kg | Woven bag with inner PE liner |
| 1000–1100 kg | Jumbo bag with discharge spout |
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. The powder is hygroscopic; reseal opened bags promptly. Stable for 2 years.

Frequently Asked Questions
Powder or flakes?
Powder dissolves fastest and blends finest but dusts more. Flakes dust less; choose by your handling setup.
Is 85% soluble enough?
For most blends and pond use yes; a small residue is normal. If you need zero residue, use the 100% soluble shiny flake.
Can it be blended with urea or DAP?
Yes, at 5–10 kg per tonne through the normal cycle; separation during transport is minimal.
Can it go in ponds?
Yes — dissolve and spread; it binds ammonia and clarifies water. Dose by pond volume.
Do you provide a COA per batch?
Yes — tested humic acid, solubility, moisture and pH.
What is the minimum order and lead time?
Stock item. MOQ one pallet; 7–15 days ex-works. Private-label printing available.
