Product Overview
Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins and, in free form, the most readily absorbed nitrogen source a plant or an animal can take up. JINGFENG’s amino acid range is produced from plant protein (soybean) or animal protein by acid or enzymatic hydrolysis, which breaks the protein chain down into free amino acids, short peptides and water-soluble nitrogen. The result is a 100% water-soluble input used as a foliar and fertigation biostimulant, a chelating agent for trace elements, and a feed-grade protein source.
60% Hydrolyzed Amino Acid Powder is the step up from our 50% grade: ≥ 60% total amino acids with ≥ 55% in the free form, ≥ 12% total nitrogen and a pH held between 3.0 and 5.0. It is supplied as a light yellow, fully water-soluble powder under product code JFHA-AA-P.
The point of the grade is the free amino acid share. Free amino acids are single, unbound molecules, so a leaf or a root can take them up directly — there is no waiting for protein to break down in the soil, and no nutrient held up by soil fixation. In practice that shows as a faster response at the moments that matter: seedling establishment, flowering, fruit set and recovery after stress.
It also carries 2.0–3.0% non-organic nitrogen, which supplies a quick-acting fraction to sit alongside the slower amino acid release.
Key Benefits
≥ 55% free amino acids
Most of the ≥ 60% total is already in the free form, so the crop takes it up through the leaf or the root without waiting for a breakdown step.
Dissolves completely
100% water soluble with no residue, so it can go straight into the spray tank or through a drip line.
High free amino acid share
A large part of the load is in the free form, which plants and animals absorb without further breakdown.
Low chloride option
Low-chloride grades avoid salt burn on chloride-sensitive crops and keep the salt load down in feed rations.
Blend-friendly
A free-flowing powder that disperses evenly into NPK, organic fertilizer and feed premixes, even at low inclusion rates.
COA on every batch
Each lot ships with a Certificate of Analysis stating the tested total amino acids, total nitrogen, chloride, pH and density for that batch.

Form: fine, free-flowing powder with low dust, easy to weigh out by the bag and to blend into dry mixes.
In water: 100% water soluble. It wets out quickly and dissolves cleanly under light agitation, leaving no residue to block filters, spray nozzles or drip lines.
Handling: use standard dust protection when handling bulk. Reseal opened bags to keep moisture out.
What the non-organic nitrogen does. The specification carries 2.0–3.0% non-organic nitrogen alongside the amino acid nitrogen. That fraction is a quick-acting nitrogen source; the amino acid fraction releases more slowly. Together they give an immediate response and a supply that lasts through the flush of growth.
In water: fully water soluble. Stir for one to two minutes so the powder is completely dispersed before the solution goes into the tank or the injector.
How the amino acid grades compare
| Grade | Form | Total amino acid | Free amino acid | Total nitrogen | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Salt-Free Amino Acid Liquid 30% | Liquid | ≥ 300 g/L | — | ≥ 7.0% | Chloride-sensitive crops; foliar and drip |
| 50% Hydrolyzed Amino Acid Powder | Powder | ≥ 45.0% | ≥ 40.0% | ≥ 15.0% | Cost-efficient foliar and fertigation over large areas |
| 50% Enzymatic Amino Acid Liquid | Liquid | ≥ 500 g/L | 20 – 30 g/L | — | Fertigation and foliar programmes, no dissolving step |
| 60% Hydrolyzed Amino Acid Powder (this product) | Powder | ≥ 60.0% | ≥ 55.0% | ≥ 12.0% | General-purpose foliar, drip and flushing |
| 80% Hydrolyzed Amino Acid Powder — Tank-Mix | Powder | ≥ 80.0% | ≥ 75.0% | ≥ 12.5% | Liquid NPK and trace-element compounding |
| 80% Amino Acid Powder — Standard | Powder | ≥ 80.0% | ≥ 75.0% | ≥ 12.5% | Feed premixes, dry blends, straight foliar and soil |
| 90% Hydrolyzed Amino Acid Powder | Powder | ≥ 90.0% | ≥ 85.0% | ≥ 15.0% organic N | Premium agriculture, feed and cosmetics |
| 90% Enzymatic Amino Acid Powder | Powder | ≥ 90.0% | ≥ 65.0% | ≥ 16.0% | Peptide-rich; organic and cosmetic specifications |
All grades are 100% water soluble and are hydrolysed from plant-source protein. Higher grades carry a larger free amino acid share, so less product is needed per hectare for the same response.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is a hydrolyzed amino acid different from an enzymatic one?
Hydrolysis gives a higher proportion of free amino acids — ≥ 55% here — so the crop absorbs it directly and fast. Enzymatic grades trade some of that free fraction for a much higher peptide content, which acts over a longer window. If you want the quickest visible response per gram, the hydrolyzed grade is the one; if you want the signalling and sustained effect of peptides, look at our enzymatic powders.
Why does the free amino acid share matter?
Free amino acids are small molecules that need no further breakdown, so a leaf or a root takes them up as they are. That matters most at stress recovery and at key stages such as flowering, when the crop cannot wait for mineralisation in the soil.
What does the non-organic nitrogen do?
The 2.0–3.0% non-organic nitrogen is a quick-acting fraction that complements the slower release from the amino acids, so the crop has an immediate supply while the amino acid nutrition carries on through the flush of growth.
Is it suitable for organic farming?
It is made from natural raw materials with no synthetic additives and is widely accepted in organic production. Rules differ by market and certifier, so confirm with your certification body and ask us for the input list and technical data sheet.
What if the powder cakes in the bag?
Crush the cake gently and dissolve it in water. Caking is a moisture effect and does not reduce the nutrient content or the absorption efficiency. Reseal the bag tightly after each use and store it dry.
Can I use it on young seedlings?
Yes. Use the weak end of the foliar range, around 1:2000, and test a small area first. At that dilution it lifts seedling vigour without leaf scorch.
Can it be tank-mixed with pesticides?
It is compatible with most neutral and weakly acidic pesticides. Avoid strong alkaline material above pH 8, and jar-test by mixing 100 mL of diluted product with the pesticide — use it only if there is no precipitation or discolouration.
How should I store it, and what is the shelf life?
Store sealed in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place out of direct sunlight. Shelf life is 24 months from the production date under those conditions.
Do you offer samples and what is the minimum order?
Yes — 1 kg samples are available for testing, dispatched within two working days with a short application guide. The bulk MOQ is 1000 kg, with volume discounts above 10 tons.
