Product Overview

Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins and, in free form, the most readily absorbed nitrogen source a plant or an animal can take up. JINGFENG’s amino acid range is produced from plant protein (soybean) or animal protein by acid or enzymatic hydrolysis, which breaks the protein chain down into free amino acids, short peptides and water-soluble nitrogen. The result is a 100% water-soluble input used as a foliar and fertigation biostimulant, a chelating agent for trace elements, and a feed-grade protein source.

70% Hydrolyzed Amino Acid Powder is a plant-source (soybean) protein hydrolysate in which ≥ 70% of the material is amino acids and ≥ 65% of it is already in the free form — single molecules that a leaf or a gut absorbs directly, with no further breakdown step.

That split is the point of this grade. In many hydrolysates most of the amino acids stay bound inside short peptides and have to be broken down before they can be taken up. Here the free share is the larger part of the load, so the response after a foliar spray or a ration change is quick — which is what you want during flowering, fruit set and stress recovery.

It carries ≥ 15% amino nitrogen, is guaranteed to at least 97% water soluble, and is supplied as a fine, free-flowing powder that wets out quickly in the spray tank or the mixing vessel.

Key Benefits

≥ 70.0% total amino acids

A guaranteed floor of ≥ 70.0%, with ≥ 65.0% in the free form that plants and animals absorb directly.

Dissolves completely

100% water soluble with no residue, so it can go straight into the spray tank or through a drip line.

High free amino acid share

A large part of the load is in the free form, which plants and animals absorb without further breakdown.

Low chloride option

Low-chloride grades avoid salt burn on chloride-sensitive crops and keep the salt load down in feed rations.

Blend-friendly

A free-flowing powder that disperses evenly into NPK, organic fertilizer and feed premixes, even at low inclusion rates.

COA on every batch

Each lot ships with a Certificate of Analysis stating the tested total amino acids, total nitrogen, chloride, pH and density for that batch.

Form & Solubility

Form: fine, free-flowing powder with low dust, easy to weigh out by the bag and to blend into dry mixes.

In water: 100% water soluble. It wets out quickly and dissolves cleanly under light agitation, leaving no residue to block filters, spray nozzles or drip lines.

Handling: use standard dust protection when handling bulk. Reseal opened bags to keep moisture out.

Reading the composition panel. Five amino acids carry the load on this grade: glutamic acid, glycine and threonine lead, with lysine and aspartic acid behind them, and together they account for roughly three quarters of the total.

The remaining amino acids are reported by the NY/T 1975-2010 method at or below its reporting threshold on this grade. That is a limit of the test, not a claim that the product is unbalanced — but we will not print a number the method cannot certify. Every batch ships with its own COA stating what was actually measured.

Typical amino acid composition — indicative analysis of the plant-source hydrolysate, shown for guidance and not a batch guarantee. Values are expressed in %. The binding specification is the total and free amino acid guarantee in the table above; each batch carries its own COA.

Frequently Asked Questions

The grade is called 70% but the table also shows 65% — which is which?

70% is the total amino acid content and 65% is the free amino acid content. Total amino acids counts everything, including the amino acids still bound inside short peptides. Free amino acids are the unbound molecules that a plant leaf or an animal gut takes up straight away. This grade guarantees ≥ 70% total with ≥ 65% of it already in the free form, which is why uptake is fast.

Why do some amino acids in the composition panel show 0%?

The panel is an indicative analysis run to NY/T 1975-2010. On this grade several amino acids fall at or below the reporting threshold of that method and are reported as zero. It is a limit of the test rather than a statement about the product — glutamic acid, glycine, threonine, lysine and aspartic acid alone carry about three quarters of the total. Each batch COA states what was measured for that lot.

What is the difference between total and free amino acids?

Total amino acids include both the free molecules and those still bound in short peptides, measured after full hydrolysis. Free amino acids are single, unbound molecules a leaf or a gut absorbs immediately. Because this grade guarantees ≥ 65% free out of ≥ 70% total, most of the load needs no further breakdown.

Is it plant source or animal source?

This grade is plant source, hydrolysed from soybean protein. We also produce animal-source grades; tell us which your market or certification body requires and we will quote the matching product.

How do I dilute it?

As a general guide for a 70% grade: foliar spray 1:1500 to 1:2000, drip or fertigation 1:1000 to 1:1500, root drenching 1:1000 to 1:1500, seed soaking 1:2000 to 1:3000. Always add the powder to the water under agitation rather than the other way round, and run a jar test before tank-mixing with agrochemicals.

The water solubility is stated as ≥ 97% — will it block my drippers?

No. 97% is the guaranteed floor and production lots run above it; at working dilution the material goes fully into solution and leaves nothing to block filters, nozzles or drippers. If you are metering it into a concentrated stock tank, pre-dissolve it in a small volume of water first.

Can it be used in animal feed?

Yes. The same material is used as a bioavailable protein and amino acid source in poultry, swine, ruminant and aquaculture rations, typically at 0.5–2% of complete feed. Because the free amino acid share is high, it is absorbed without a digestion step, which is what makes it useful around stress and diet changes.

Is it suitable for organic farming?

Hydrolysed plant-source amino acids are widely accepted in organic production. Rules differ by market and certifier, so please check with your certification body and ask us for the input list and technical data sheet you need.

How is it packed and what is the minimum order?

Standard pack is a 20 kg or 25 kg bag with inner liner, with 1 kg and 10 kg options for sampling. MOQ one pallet; 7–15 days ex-works. Private-label printing and custom blends are available on request.
